Choose a radio station to listen to as a family and explore short ideas for activities away from the screen. A song can inspire a movement, a story can start a conversation about a character, and a gentle melody can offer a moment to slow down.

Before listening together, an adult should sample the station and check the broadcaster's programme. A children's station name does not mean every programme will suit every child. Choose the content and mood together.

Your family stays in control of playback. Stop after one story, change the music or simply talk about what you have heard. Shared attention matters more to us than listening for as long as possible.

How the selection works

We group stations by musical style and publish articles to help you hear more. Each station links to an official source; the broadcaster determines its programmes and schedule.
